Bonsave is now on iOS

Willis Allstead

When I launched Bonsave four weeks ago, the roadmap had two big items on it. The first, an MCP server so you could connect your finances to Claude, shipped a few days later. The second was an iOS app.

Today it’s live. You can download Bonsave from the App Store now.

Everything that’s on the web, in your pocket

The iOS app isn’t a stripped-down companion. It’s the full product. The same net worth chart, the same daily insight every morning, the same Bonnie chat that knows your accounts and transactions, the same spending analysis with category breakdowns and budget targets.

Your accounts and data sync instantly if you’re already a web user. Connecting new accounts works the same way (encrypted bank connections via Plaid).

Built for the daily check-in

Bonsave was designed around one idea: every morning, you should learn one specific thing about your money. Not a wall of numbers, not a generic tip. One observation that matters.

That experience belongs on your phone. You don’t open a laptop to glance at something. You pull out your phone, see the insight, tap to ask Bonnie a follow-up if you want, and put it away. The whole interaction is under a minute.

The iOS app makes that loop frictionless. Push notifications when a new insight is ready, Face ID to unlock, Apple Sign-In to start in seconds.

What’s next

Android is on the roadmap, though no firm date yet. A few iOS-specific features are coming soon (widgets are at the top of the list). And we’ll keep shipping insights, chat, and tracking improvements across web, iOS, and MCP in parallel.

If you’re already a Bonsave user, the app is free with your existing plan. New users get 14 days free.
